"NJ Holiday Toy Drive Starts from Scratch
After Fire Destroys Donations"

"PARAMUS, N.J. (WCBS 880) — The Bergen County Toys for Tots toy drive in New Jersey has been forced to start from scratch after all of the donated presents were lost in a fire."

As most of you know, The Orange Lantern recently held our annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive. Many toys were collected at the event, and even more have been donated since. Tragically, a fire in town at one of our storage facilities has destroyed hundreds of these toys as they were waiting to be transported to the US Marine Corps Reserves with Operation Toy Train in December.

We are all devastated by this loss, however the holiday season does not stop, and neither will we. The Orange Lantern will continue to collect toys and funds for the Bergen County Toys for Tots Foundation until December 1st. We need your help to replace those toys! Together, we can deliver on the Toys For Tots promise that “Every Child Deserves A Little Christmas.”

Thank you, The Orange Lantern Family & Bergen County Toys for Tots Foundation

We have started the toy drive again at The Orange Lantern located in Paramus, NJ. We would greatly appreciate any toy donation there.
